Overview
Dprime Newsletter is a complete newsletter solution that runs inside your WordPress site:
This is a Dprime pro plugin. It requires Dprime Core to be installed and an active Dprime subscription. Without an active licence, the plugin shows a notice and pauses its features (your subscriber data is preserved).
Before you start
- WordPress 6.4 or newer
- PHP 8.2 or newer
Installation
- Make sure Dprime Core is installed and your site is connected to a Dprime subscription.
- Install and activate Dprime Newsletter.
- The setup wizard appears on first activation. Walk through 5 quick steps to configure your sending preferences.
Using the plugin
- Subscriber management with double opt-in
- Custom subscriber fields
- CSV import / GDPR export and erasure
- Campaign composer (coming in v1.2)
- HTML templates with custom HTML override
- Send via your existing wp_mail backend (SMTP2GO, Postmark, etc) or direct SMTP / API providers (coming soon)
- Per-campaign From address override
- One-click unsubscribe (CAN-SPAM / GDPR compliant)
- Frontend CSS toggle so the signup form can be styled entirely from your theme
Shortcodes
Use these in the WordPress editor, a shortcode block, or a compatible page builder.
[dprime_newsletter]Styling and CSS classes
These public-facing class hooks are present in the plugin styles. Add custom CSS only after checking the result on a staging site.

- 7 WordPress settings
- Database tables: your WordPress table prefix + dpnl_campaigns, your WordPress table prefix + dpnl_queue, your WordPress table prefix + dpnl_subscribers
Retention: kept until the plugin is uninstalled. Uninstall policy: delete the plugin-owned data declared above.
Troubleshooting
- Confirm the required WordPress, PHP, and companion-plugin versions above.
- Save the plugin settings again, then repeat the exact action that failed.
- Clear page, object, and browser caches when the issue affects front-end output.
- Temporarily test with unrelated plugins disabled on a staging site to identify a conflict.
- If the problem remains, record the steps, visible error, and relevant logs before contacting support.
Updates and access
An active individual or portfolio entitlement provides updates and support. After expiry, the installed local version remains, while update access, support, new activations, domain moves, and protected remote services stop.
